Our educational approach Minimize

Blancpain's approach can be reflected through the following :

  • The education of the whole person, that being academic, spiritual, moral, emotional, social, physical and aesthetic.
  • With the whole person in view, a healthy lifestyle is encouraged.
  • To encourage and develop the individual to his/her full potential through self-esteem and self discipline.
  • Sustaining a family atmosphere where pupils can share ideas and respect those of others.
  • The school bathes in the cultural diversity which is La Tour-de-Peilz   while welcoming those who are new to the community.

We are a local school with a wider perspective on the world we seek to prepare our students in the best possible way for the present and future world.

Therefore as of Preschool our students are introduced to English (by way of songs, games and stories) as well as the French language.

In the primary school French remains the dominant language with sports, music and art classes taught in English by mother tongue specialists who are completely bilingual teachers.
This is further reinforced by having English taught as a subject throughout the school.

As a result Blancpain students are not only reinforced in the French mother tongue (used for the main subjects) but also gain an excellent grounding in English.

Marks and reports

From grade 1 onwards, parents will regularly be informed of their child's results by :

  • marks (1 to 10) in the daily notebook, which is to be signed for each Monday morning.
  • interim reports
  • the school report twice a year.
